I was skeptical about the soak-the-brim thing, but after a few hours of yard work in July it actually kept my head cool way longer than a plain cap. The nylon mesh vents well too, so it doesn't turn into a sweatbox.

Wore this on a weeklong fishing trip and the wet brim really does stay cool for a good hour before I had to dunk it again. The mesh sides breathe way better than my old solid hat, so my head never got swampy.

Took this to a ballgame and soaked the brim in the cooler before the first inning. Two hours in direct sun and my head stayed noticeably cooler than my buddies' caps. The mesh sides breathe well too, no swampy feeling.
